WHAT IS NIPPLE AND AREOLA CORRECTION?

The surgery can be performed under general or local anesthesia on an outpatient basis.

To balance overly large nipples, Dr. Savalia will remove a small amount of skin and then taper the remaining skin closed, as though tightening purse strings. In cases where the nipples are facing downwards, he will utilize breast lift techniques to achieve a perkier breast profile. Finally, to correct puffy areolas, Dr. Savalia will make an incision encircling the pigmented area and remove a portion of the unwanted skin.
